First bird

Hi Lori lovers! I'm new to the group and parrot ownership. I got my Blue Mountain Rainbow Lorikeet 6 weeks ago, he's (I'm assuming gender) 5 months old. I did a bunch of research on the breed before dropping the cash, and man have I loved him. Complete clown or a snuggle bug. Good at that shrill scream, SOOO MUCH POOP and likes to fling pellets everywhere! I call the nectar "Bird Crack" (white powder and he acts like an addict, it was fitting) I can't wait to see what more he'll bring as he grows. Looking forward to future posts!
