Has he been weaving lately?
Not lately, no. He went through an extensive weaving period about 2 months ago, and then stopped completely when his project was up to his standards, I guess.

I think he only does it when he's hormonal, but I can't say for sure if that's the pattern yet.

that's cause to celebrate!! Blu
Yes it is! Woohoo! :dance6:
I'm always a little jealous when I see people posting pics of their fids eating complex dishes, because Blu only really eats plain stuff (like veggies with no spices and plain stuff) so this is very exciting for me. If I could get him to keep eating like this I could start throwing all kinds of goodies into his food. :yes3:

What was the winning AO mash? Bobber surprised me with liking the Quick Serve right away!

and also Gizmo used to be like that. She was like a little kid. If her food was touching other food she didn't like it. She LOVED apples but if it touched a blueberry the whole dish was a failure

Today's mash was the summer breeze flavor. He's had this flavor before, and others, but I guess he was in the mood today

That's funny about Gizmo. They sure act just like kids sometimes:hehe:

It took around 8 years for my cockatiel to eat food with veggies in it without me having to mash them up and mix them in bean sprouts. Perseverance is key. Maybe she's just stubborn or it might be due to never having pellets or fresh food for years in her previous home.

It's a great feeling when they finally do get around to eating new food :loveshower:
