feather loss

My Indian ringneck is a little over 5 months old and i found a long tail feather on floor, Is it normal to lose at his age or should i be worried?

He may be going through his first moult,,,its normal. My IRN moults around this time, by December he looks like a green duck, no tail feathers at all.
