Falling in love, more and more...

Dexter (CAG) is just amazing me, every day. He's becoming such a personable, confident little goof!

Just now he climbed off his cage, walked across the living room, and started tapping on my door (which was mostly swung shut). He pushed it open a little bit, peered up at me, then sauntered into the bedroom lol. Now he's chewing on the power button on an old computer tower that we have...I should probably stop him, he's just so cute. Ah now he's trying to climb up onto the bed with me, gotta watch the toes lol!

He's doing amazing in his harness now! We've taken him to the park with the kids a few times lately, he does great there...doesn't talk much, but enjoys the attention. And being outside, that's for sure! He also went to the parade with us last weekend and thoroughly enjoyed watching all of the floats, animals etc. It was so much fun to see him having a blast.

And then there's all the talking, kisses, loving scritches, wanting to be with us...he's even starting to potty train himself which is a nice bonus.

And to think I didn't used to care for Greys...

Astrid, are you hoping to get one someday? They really are pretty amazing. Not that other parrots aren't too, though...they all have their charms! Even my little ornery butt Riley lol.

Merlin dug when he was a baby in his playpen cage, and didn't do it again until he was a few years old.

Very random. Sometimes it's digging at the ground head first when there's a door he can't open. And sometimes it's just in the middle of the floor.

Other than what he tells us, I'd love to get inside his head some days
