It's high in protein, but I do use it in chop mixes.

They finish off the pods popping and beans, skinning the bean and leaving the mess... then come looking to raid our dinner plates!

Because they are high in protein, can throw the bird into hormone time. If fed should be very occasional and very little, otherwise it indicated breeding time for them ,
