Drawing Cockatoos

Hi everyone! I'm an artist who's always loved to draw birds. I've always been attracted to cockatoos for their beauty. And now that I'm owned by a rosie, I'm in love with cockatoos especially.
Here is my recent drawing of a Black Palm cockatoo. It's the 3rd in a series of cockatoo drawings I just started. My ambitious project is to draw every species of cockatoo there is.
I hope this is the appropriate place to share this.

Very nice variation of lines here and use of dark and light. I do some artwork myself. Have you ever tried the white pastel pencils on dark colored paper? This forces you to look at a portrait in a total different way and is very dramatic. I just ordered some pencils I found on ebay and some dark colored paper. You can even go to a place like Walmart and find very subdued dark colored paper without paying too much. A Rose Breasted Cockatoo on black paper would be so dramatic!
