Dobby shower time

I was taking a shower and he was in there with me but again refused to hop on my hand even though he was very curious. Once I was done seeing how he's kinda in the mood and needs a shower too I filled up the pump up sprayer with warm water and got him mildly soaked. He wasn't too keen but no screaming or blood was shed though he did fly about a bit and kept trying to make me pick him up.
I got a floofy to just because even though it's not all in focus

But I can't understand why your Pionus doesn't like to bath.
Mine will never stop when I mist them and I always get cramp in my both arms before I decided they had enough.

He only loves to bath in his water bowl on days I change the water in my fish tanks, but he doesn't get very wet Leto is an odd duck

When I got Eliy they say that she hated to bath. First bath with me and she accepted it fine, and second she loved it! Perhaps I motivate my parrots in a positive way?

Tiki loves showers too and makes little airplane wings which is so cute with her little wings. Then she usually has a bath in her water bowl right after her shower (with spray bottle on mist).

He loved to go into the shower cage and into Momazons shower but when I tried it here he looked disgusted like this isn't my shower and your not mom. He has dunked in one of his water bowls before and he does the wing faning wanna get wet in the shower but does not want to jump on my hand to get wet. Might try his big bowl sometime but I think he's still getting to know and trust me so it's a work in progress for both of us.

It's a basic small rectangular finch type cage with no bottom that can get wet easily and he has enough room to move around.

It's just a leftover busted up but safe cage Momazon had that is great as a open air or go in the shower cage.

There you go, he rode home in it too and had a few toys and water and food just in case. there are clip on bowls for it that aren't in it now for travel time. The plastic one on top is what we bought for the few times Nerd had to go in after lugging his whole cage in to the vets and it worked good when I got Lurch too but Dobby wanted nothing to do with it and we used the shower cage to take him to the sitters as it was easier to stuff him inside and he already likes it.
