I have for a long time wanted a playstand that was only for fresh branches so it was easy to change them every week.

After buying a new gaming chair I got pedestal legs over.
First I wash it carefully and remove all wheels and gave them a service and oiled/lubricate them with olive oil.
Then I made a new cylinder of pine from the forest. Added 5 holes to it.
I added rope to it so they could climb up and down, and that is something they both loves to do.
And the rest watch the short video.

It is not good looking, but they loved it, so for us it was a big success. :)
And I also have replaced branches over Akela's cage today. Eliy's I will do tomorrow.
So now my small little beavers have something to do again. :D

Lucky birds :)
If the birds like it, it is perfect.
Thank you! ♥

That is a fun thing about birds.
I do make some good looking SS toys to them (and of course they like them too) but the toys they like the most is when I just placed pieces of card board, egg carton, leather and pine wood on a skewer.
And if you give them what you have in your hand you will make their day. :D
I often holding on to a toilet roll when I want Eliy attention. She will be reaching for it so hard so she almost fell off my shoulder.
Once I give it to her, you can see how happy she is.
Or even better, I'm just holding on to it pretend I don't see her, she steals it and fly away with it, and the joy you see in her face makes it so worth to playing this game with her.

Wow that's a great design! I hope someday I have access to more branches, especially hoping someday I might have a yard where I can grow some apple trees so I'm sure the branches are nice. Toro loves chewing wood and climbing around, but sadly I don't really have many places to find bird-safe branches. Any advice for branch foraging?
