Hey everyone!

At my work we got a male ekkie surrendered to us recently, and we've noticed that his favorite thing to do is to kind of swing his head back and forth and he almost looks over his shoulder when he does it.
I'm going to try to get a video of it, but is it just him dancing you think?
He'll do it all day. Swing, look over one "shoulder" then swing his head back around to the other side and look over that shoulder as well and just go back and forth and back and forth. Occasionally he'll bang his beak on the cage too while he's doing it.

Has anyone seen this before? We're all just super curious!
Thanks!

Sounds interesting. Could it be something he learnt from a cockatoo?

Video would be great!!

I've never seen my Eckie do that specific behavior, but I've only had for for about a month now. Does sound very "Cockatoo-esque" though.
