They know when they are truly loved for sure! Sergei and Angel are all over me like that. Lucy and Newt are a little more distant but still want scritches and personal attention but aren't Velcro babies like A & S are.

Nerd used to walk up to the couch and recliner and demand his treats every evening. Sometimes we'd both be asleep and he'd wait patiently for a bit then CHIRP!!! as loud as he could to wake us up

I've never seen or had a bird that loved as much as she does, and tells you so too, with kisses.
She'll stare....then very slowly, and softly say " I ....looooovvveee....yooooo" ....then give me a kiss where she holds my bottom lip....chewing on it, gently....then goes whoooooo!
