we were going to put it together last night and time got away. I'm done with the flu though now so that's a relief! I do want to use it on saturday in the living room while the birds are out and the bird room wall is being repaired

You've had one heck of a week!! I think I did read somewhere that you were getting over the flu, so glad your beginning to feel better. And your wall! Well, I guess you have to start the new year off somehow... Glad you caught it now and it didn't continue

Well, I have to say it is as close to perfection as you can get.......by which i mean aesthetically of course but more importantly the safe design, sturdy construction and well rounded smooth edges with no sharp points and no toe trapping panel joints. So I'm very pleased. Once you've seen the best, there is no going back....

John Rogers calls it the Ultimate Cage!
Now it has a handmade look to it, unlike my A&E and Featherland which are mass produced by machines. Their machines grind the welds down smooth so the surface is perfectly smooth. In a handmade NW cage the welds are obvious but smoothed and no sharp points. Actually John said that since the weld is not ground down, it is stronger....which makes sense. I was a fan of the mass produced look of perfection but after a while that gets boring lol
