He is hilarious. He came from an American family to our Cuban family. So he is now bilingual, and has a pretty thick Cuban accent hahaha! It is more noticeable in this short video:

Hehehe, "What are joo dooooing?" My batteries for my camera died just then so I was unable to truly capture his full vocal moment.
But yea, he is a nut. One time my grandmother came down with a cold, so she was constantly covering her mouth and coughing and clearing her throat. Next thing we know it, Buck starts lifting his foot over his beak, and he coughs terribly and with a raspy voice he says "Ay... que catarro..." ("Ugh, what a cold").
One time he and my uncle's cockatoo were hanging out on top of their cages, when she got too close and Buck gave her a little warning bite. She squawked and my grandmother said (in spanish) "Buckwheat! Did you just bite her!?" and he responded "Un poquito!" ("Just a little!").
He has never been deliberately taught to say anything. He just picks it all up.
He knows all of our names, and calls us by them. Same goes for the dogs, he yells at them, addressing them directly by name. Honestly, I wish I could really capture one of his moments.
