My dear hubby went out last night to check on his wild deer herd and came upon an emaciated kitten in the middle of the road, He got out of van to pick it up and move it to the side of the road. Unfortunately, he made eye contact with the kitten, it weakly mewed and he was a goner. 
But we have two dogs and 8 birds. If we keep it, is there such a thing is crate training it, ie) when we are not home, keep it in a very roomy crate?
