I have a 4 month old green ringneck or at least when I rescued it at 2 weeks old was told it was a Indian ringneck but the beak is so dark I'm wondering if it is an African ringneck I have other ringnecks even when young the beaks where not like this at this age and the light color ones will show red better and lighter feet. This one the feet are a mix it doesn't know what it wants either light or light grey here are some picks any input will be extremely appreciated. IMG_1471.JPG IMG_1474.JPG IMG_1472.JPG

It looks to me as if he/she is a cross between an Indian ring-necked parakeet and an African ring-necked parakeet.

I have an African ringneck and the beak is darker and smaller. The width of this beak is more like a IRN. It could be a cross but I suspect that it will lighten a little with time. Here are some pics of my ARN's beak. It is much darker almost burgandy colored and narrower.
