Maybe I should of said. "I will leave this conversation" Not walk away. We are all good, with this.

I know I cause some conflicts with a few people.

Mine love raw. I cut the cobs into wheels using a sharp knife or with a designated pipe cutter. I then rinse in vinegar (like with all fresh foods). After that I let dry and place in fridge. I have also offered cut off the cob but my birds prefer the wheels.

My theory on this was posted. I do believe it is not the way the corn is prepared it is the way the kernels stay in the crop longer than they should. Especially the outer shell of each corn kernel. There is nothing one can do to remove the carbohydrates from the corn. Good luck and I hope you stay clear of the experience I had in feeding fresh corn to budgies.
