Cork Toys

Hi everybody!

My cockatiel’s favorite toy is this one I will have pictured. He only chews the cork part!

Is there any bird safe cork board that I can use to recreate that? He goes through them insanely fast! I don’t want to buy cork board that has dangerous adhesive.

Many cork boards have glue in them unfortunately.

@Mizzely might be able to help you locate some safe cork for your bird.

I don't know of any cork board that I would feel comfortable giving my birds to be honest. To my knowledge they are all an amalgamation of cork bits and glue compressed together.

Natural cork stoppers would be safe, as is virgin cork bark. I offer toys with both of these items. If you want just parts, here are some options:

Raw, natural, Virgin Cork Blocks. These are a completely natural product, made of raw cork bark. 100% safe and non-toxic to parrots, these are a great option for birds who don't like to chew harder wood, or for birds with handicapped beaks that can't chew harder wood. Approximately 2" to 3"...
