Earlier Today, Coco passed away at the age of 26. He'd been sick for the past 3 weeks and we had no idea what the issue was. He was staying at the vet, and whenever we went to visit him, he couldn't even keep his head up. Today, we recieved a call from the vet telling us that he likely wouldn't make it until noon. We immediately came. Coco was waiting for us, and he passed in my arms.

Coco was an incredible bird. He was playful, fun, and the most loving/lovable bird you could ask for.

Rest in Peace Coco, February 17, 1992 - January 2, 2019.

I'm so sorry for your loss I'm happy you got to be there to say goodbye. My mom was a bereavement counselor and would say people would often wait to see loved ones before they died. Sounds like Coco was doing just that
