Can anyone help me Introduce bathing to my new Baby cockatiel?

I use a mist bottle. Make sure the water isn't too cold. I mist my hand first letting the bird see what I'm doing. Then, I spray up, not on the bird directly so it kind of falls like rain. Once he's more comfortable I'll do more of a direct misting. If the bird doesn't like it, I stop and try again later or even the next day. You want bathing to be fun and not forced. I even sing a "bath" song to make it fun. Some birds like to bathe in shallow bowls of water. You can try that too but misting always seemed to work best for me. And you don't want to give a bath too late in the day because you want your bird to be dry for bedtime. I usually don't give a bath any later than 2-3 o'clock.
