There's something about this chick that is "different"....i just can't put my finger on it right now. It's the headbars that are throwing me off, look at how yellow this chick's head is compared to the one above.

A lovely surprise! This one will be a blue, and will likely look just like dad. This means that mom is split for blue (which I didn't know about because I personally did not breed here in my aviary)
I figured out why “Halo” looks different. She’s Opaline. Duh! I totally forgot that dad was split for it, and for some reason I always have a hard time identifying Opaline when the chicks are young.
