Cat stuck in a tree. How Cliché

Okay, so maybe not a tree but a telephone pole.
Came home from the sisters today to find out Tiger was stuck up here behind the house. Mom was after calling to get help for him about it a hour before. Took over 2 hours for them to come so im assuming he was up there for a good 3 hours. By the time they got him down he was soaking wet and shivering.

Poor guy wasn't too happy

And finally help arrived

Being stuck in a canvas bag

And being lowered to safety

Meanwhile the birdies were on the watch.

Now to hope we never have a repeat of this.

Poor Tiger he looks like he was not happy. It always amazes me that they can get up themselves up there and then cant get back down

True enough. He would have eventually became extreamly dehydrated and exhausted which would result in a vet trip. Besides, Couldn't leave him up there long enough for that to happen. Hearing him meow out was heartbreaking.

I did find it rather funny as first. Till you had to sit and listen to him cry out. Normally the cats don't go outside too often and when they do they stick close to home. Example was that. That phone pole was about 2' from our yard.

I know one thing for sure, He is happy to be back down on solid ground. When the guy went up there Tiger all but pounced right into the bag.

Oh, I don't know whether to laugh at this or feel sorry for the guy. Poor, poor kitty! At least he's safe and dry now, I bet that was a traumatizing experience for him.


My friends at our local pet store once sold a goffin's to an inexperienced bird owner, and the same thing happened... they went outside with the 'too and it got spooked and flew to a telephone wire. They got him back with the help of the fire department, thankfully, but the new bird owner was to traumatized that he sold the poor goffin back to the pet store. :/
