... but not with me of course. Anyone interested? His breeder has a single male hatched last June, and he's a really wonderful baby. Sure would be awesome to have him go to someone here on the Ave ;)

They're not very common and the exoticness factor probably pays a major role. They're one of the extremely few New World parrot species with a raisable ruff of feathers. Their character is also unique. Seeing one in person is really something. In Canada, they can be triple the cost and our currencies are nearly at par. :eek:

Theyre so beautiful. I cant afford one atm plus im trying NOT to add until i move in a few years! I dont know if id feel safe with such an expensive bird. Especially after what happened :(
