... but not with me of course. Anyone interested? His breeder has a single male hatched last June, and he's a really wonderful baby. Sure would be awesome to have him go to someone here on the Ave
I totally agree and he's an incredible breeder. Hmm, let's see...who else here might be interested...
How awesome would that be. I hope he goes to someone on AA too.
You mean other than everyone? I think it's just a case of everyone not having room for another fid, much less having the money (esp. for a hawkhead).Hmm, let's see...who else here might be interested...
I was going to say the same thingI have the room, I have the money.......to bad I have THE HUSBAND!
'Tis true indeed. Believe me on the cost factor no one knows better than me...You mean other than everyone? I think it's just a case of everyone not having room for another fid, much less having the money (esp. for a hawkhead).
or east!Does Scott ship north of the border?? (j/k)
I would say it's because they we're imported very much before the import ban so they are very few in numbers here.So why is a HH so much more expensive? I'm curious.
They're not very common and the exoticness factor probably pays a major role. They're one of the extremely few New World parrot species with a raisable ruff of feathers. Their character is also unique. Seeing one in person is really something. In Canada, they can be triple the cost and our currencies are nearly at par.So why is a HH so much more expensive? They are awesome, and worth every penny!Seeing one in person is really something. In Canada, they can be triple the cost and our currencies are nearly at par.
Oh, I totally agree, if I had a spare $4000-$5000...They are awesome, and worth every penny!
