so after I uncovered them of course Carlos starts chatting. I was getting my coffee and he said "Are you Mama's good bird?" 
So cute..what a way to start my morning..

Shadow often says "are you a good bird" when I uncover is cage. Rolly talks non stop. She says "porkchop" when she wants food. So tonight I gave her some pancakes which she replied "umm, good" the whole time she was eating them. When her piece was gone she started back in "um, porkchop" because I didn't move fast enough, next it was "I would like a porkchop" then it went to "I love porkchops" and then finally went to "Um, I would like a porkchop RIGHT NOW"! How do they come up with this stuff?

Rolly is a rescue, who's past owner died. From what we have heard, her owner worked in a restuarant and used to bring her home porkchops often. I am guessing she learned it that way. Its funny though if I have her in the car with me and order fast food. After I order she will say "and a porkchop." Last time she did this the person taking the order said "we don't have porkchops here" (fast food hamburger joint). I just say... oh that is my bird, which really confuses them. Or when we go to KFC and I order, then she starts yelling "chicken, chicken bawk bawk." Makes the people taking the order mad until they see it IS a bird
