Cant Drink Water

Hello I'm new to the birdie community I just adopted two parakeets the other day and one of them doesn't know how to drink out of her water bottle, its a silo type with a large-ish opening at the bottom and it has a perch. I've adopted them from somebody on craigslist who couldn't take care of them anymore, but she hasn't drunken any water since we got them she keeps licking the bottle instead of drinking water. they aren't used to me yet so I cant help her by holding her, or touching the water or anything like that can anyone please help I might just have to get a new water thing.

Try giving her a normal bowl of water, or a shallow dish.
