Video Buckbeak wants more mist.

Usually, when Buckbeak wants a shower, he wants to get SOAKED! However, because of the cold weather here, I didn't want to get him drenched in case the power went out and the heat stopped working or something. So I just gave him a quick misting today. Obviously, he wanted more mist!

I love watching him bathe. He is so gosh darn cute.

He really is enjoying that bath. So fresh and so clean cockatiel. I love the way they spread their wings like that.

Aw, thanks! Yes! He is very good at whistling! Neither my fiance nor I knew how to whistle before Buckbeak was a part of our lives. I'll be sure to post a video of one of his songs soon.

He was named by his previous owner, but the name suits him so well that of course we kept it. He can be stubborn sometimes, just like a hippogriff. But he also has this gentlemanly way about him, so I often call him Mr. Buckbeak.
