Smart birdie...Scully likes towels. They are great for ripping up and destroying. However when he sees the syringe and the towel that's a different story.
hmmm, i misremembered how much to give and measured out .2cc (4 drops - he's only 325g so should have been 3 drops) and pulled up some juice in the syringe so he could see it was juice. He took it like a champ! A couple drops of the mixture fell out of his beak so maybe I didn't overdose him after all. Anyway that problem is solved! Now I have to try the same trick with LScoot. Thanks @Macawnutz @iamwhoiam
I don't think you can overdose with it. It's naturally occurring in their body too.
Using a loading dose would also depend on how your using it and what your using it for. I've done loading doses with it many times.
I did that with Nerd when he was sick for the last time with whatever stuff they gave me on a guess it wouldn't kill him and might help. They said it shouldn't hurt him and he might just get the runs if it bothered him. They put the wrong dose on the bottle but yes it didn't seem to make him any worse. Of course he was already very sick but positive it didn't hasten anything.
I'm sure he'll be fine and you didn't give him a huge amount over so don't worry and beat yourself up
just those thick 1-1/2" bagels with a 1" safe hole in them.what toy was it?
great news!!Blood work came back great! There was a slight abnormality in the enzyme called CK which was due to his calcium injections. Said to cut back on oral calcium dose. He hasn't fallen since I got the camera! @Macawnutz @Hankmacaw
