brussel sprouts?

I picked up some brussel sprouts for my birds but I don't know what to do with them. Do you cook them? If so how? Thanks

You can try them uncooked or steamed.I can't get mine to eat them though.

Jingo LOOOOOOVES brussel sprouts! Since its just him what I do is take 3-4 and put it in a small covered bowl with about an inch of water, and microwave them for a 2-3 minutes. I then can skewer them up, or I cut them into smaller pieces and put them in his veggie bowl.

Otherwise you can just boil them up or steam them

I nuke mine til soft, but like Marian's birds, mine won't touch them.

Me, I love'em, so it's all OK, there's just more for me.

I buy them on occasion and feed them raw. Some of my birds eat them, some of them don't.

I give fresh, uncooked brussels sprouts to our birds when in season. They love them!

Well I wish Jingo would eat them raw lol would be easier! I guess I should just be excited he will eat them at all

I do 'hide' them by putting them in his mash, he'd hate me if he knew!

my alexandrine and galah are the only ones of mine that will eat them , i just give them raw they are one of my alexandrines favs but then he is a alex and everything food wise is a fav lol
