Found our cat poking a Smith's Black-Headed snake in the living room. Baby one, about 3" long. Caught it and turned it loose in the backyard.
In the living room?!?! I would be freaked out.

There's not a whole lot of body language with snakes. If it's looking right at you all tensed up with it's neck in an S ready to strike, put it down.Awww I love baby snakes! Adults I'm just ok with, I just can't read their body language and it freaks me out
