I just always thought there was some rare bird out there with an amazing headress, like this one

OMG, I am wetting myself laughing at this one.
Too funny but I think most people imagine the picture on the right........I know I do!
Even after having it explained to me as a kid I still always picture the bird on the right and probably always will. The bird on the right is funnier anyway.

I just had this explained to me last night! And I imagine it's going to be like the Yanni and Laurel to me from now on; I see the right bird but I'm going to have to work hard to see the left instead

Wait. If we all thought it looked like the right pic, why do we have to agree it’s really the left one?

When I look at my bird of paradise plants (I have several) I see the right pic. Or the drawing.

I grew up with Bird of Paradise here in South Florida so I got a cheat on this one and knew exactly what they looked like. I even have one in the yard. They do have beautiful Blooms.
