I mostly just made this account so I could ask this question; could I bring my cockatiel on my bike? I have an aviator harness and a bike basket for my dog, are there any safety hazards? I mean obviously I could crash my bike, but that comes with taking your dog in it too.

How experienced is your bird in the harness outside?

It might be attainable over time on a very short leash but it will always be a pretty risky thing to do IMO.

Yes I have seen people with birds on their bikes. One homeless lady here rides her tiel on there. I'd say getting the tiel to remain on it or on you is the tricky part!
