Best way to store harrison pellets ?

I got a 11.3kg pack and dont know how to store it for long time. Can i freeze them? If i do how do i defreeze them and give to the bird to eat?

They can be frozen. Depends how long you will have them for. One thing for sure, they all say NOT to remove from original vacuum sealed package. I don't buy the super large packages to avoid this problem even though you save some money. I just figure it into Kathie @ MSBS prices plus 10% off. Having said that, I also use some Goldenobles for one fussy bird here (I won't mention any names here, but her initials are CAG Bella) so those I freeze in a zip lock bag immediately upon opening. They have great ingredients but no preservatives.

Im thinking of wrapping them in aluminium foil and putting them in an air tight box to freeze.i think this will keeo them fresh for longer, well i hope so.
