I was wondering what would be the best way. Normally I cut it up into small pieces where he normally breaks it apart himself. This of course, gets messy when it comes to bananas, which he loves. Is there a better way to prepare it for him?

Sounds ok to me. Messy beaks are adorable.

I feed him the bananas by hand - cut them up and have him set up, then allow him to forge right in. Yet, he also uses me as a napkin as well.

Mash it up with a fork. Add fruit juice and even odd food colours.

It will look like mush, and they will looooove it.

They will make a HUGE mess
They will think its GREAT

........and so will YOU when you have to give them medicine one day and find you have an easy place to hide it so they will scoff it up.
