Begging

My 6 week old hand fed cockatiel almost doesn’t stop begging. I feed her 10ml of formula at 11am, 4pm, & 11pm. She also gets spray millet & zupreem seed/pellet mix throughout the day. Am I doing something wrong? The begging makes me think she needs to be fed more formula but I’ve heard that more than 10ml is too much

How much does your bird weigh on an empty crop?
6 weeks old, I wonder if maybe they should be on 4 feeds per day? Is the crop empty when you go to feed?
Cockatiels are known for th or static noise, so you will have to learn the body language to know if they are hungry or just seeking attention.
You can try putting a cupped hand sideways next to the bird, see if they huddle in for a bit of a cuddle (I do this from the side, not from the top above to gove the bird choice).

i have no idea how much she weighs, I don’t have a scale:(
I believe it is empty
While making the noise she bobs her head up & down

Go buy a scale. It is important with weaning bird to weigh them daily.
You will need a scale when your bird is older anyway to keep monitoring weight to look out for sickness or eggs.

Get a gram scale that will measures to 0.01 g

In a pinch for now, ask a neighbour, grandma, friend, anyone who bakes or cooks to borrow a kitchen scale to get an idea of what your bird weighs

Okay! About how much is she meant to weigh at this age?
