Hi everyone,

my little guy is 9 years old, had no behavioral change, generally seems totally fine, is eating well, poops normal etc. but he started to develop this bald spot under right “armpit”. not sure what to do with it and if it’s something to be concerned about. any recommendations? i don’t have a vet locally and even if i did he gets very stressed out around new people let alone trying to touch him so i can’t imagine taking him somewhere.
anyone maybe experienced something like this? 53086199-A700-4B0D-B835-FB647E58FC68.jpeg C0F81A39-2B8E-443F-807C-5EBD6CDA153A.png 01FE15AB-631D-42D4-A11E-693D32056344.png 1FAECEC0-95A8-4CAB-B410-262D624D9FD3.jpeg 53086199-A700-4B0D-B835-FB647E58FC68.jpeg C0F81A39-2B8E-443F-807C-5EBD6CDA153A.png

I would say it looks like your bird is plucking. Sometimes this can be hormone related, sometimes its a sign of an internal issue or pain (especially if it is localized to one area), and sometimes its behavioral.
