Baby's first moult having a rough time

Poor Kazoo is having a rough time. He's got pins around his face, head, and neck. He lost a flight last night and a few tailfeathers are on their way down too. He is such a baby when it comes to anything especially discomfort from this. He just wants scritches, he will glady take a comfort feeding that makes him feel better.

He is though, getting more yellow on his head. He has always had a slight whisp of yellow of one feather, but it looks like there might be two now

I hope his feathers grow quickly and stop bothering him. Poor lil guy.

He was just a year old in May. He loves water and a few times a week gets a shower. Tomorrow he'll get a good shower to help make those pins soften up a bit.
