We currently have more babies than we ever have had before!
15!!!
It was 16 but one weaned and found a new home earlier today

How do you tell the chicks apart before they're banded?

well, they all look like their parents
And I know exactly who the little ones are from because the 4 yellows came from one parents and the whites came from another set
I also mark down all the babies birthdays and what parents they came from the day they’re born to make it easier
Plus IMO even a day age difference is pretty obvious in baby birds?
