I wasn't familiar, either, so I did a little digging, and Lara Joseph writes in her blog she has worked with A Helping Wing. I'd be interested in some feedback on her services!
@Jenphilly are you familiar with this individual? I don't recognize any of the organizations she lists in her credentials. These online programs are tempting but I'm afraid if I joined one I wouldn't stick with it and would just be throwing my money away, and I have a fair grasp of behavior and training, though of course one can always learn more.
ETA: In the upcoming workshop at her center, she is co-teaching with Deb Jones. I love Deb Jones's work.

I know Lara. I saw her in the Chicago area (seminars that probably others here attended). Loved the story of how she got involved with parrots originally.

It was the first AFA I'd been to so I wandered all over the place, went for Dr. Sakas' talk and ran into Dr Scott & his OH. Still not sure if I'm going to the AFA in Orlando for a day or not.

Yes, I love Lara Joseph - she is an excellent teacher of ABA. I have been a member of her Parrot Project since it started. She has some wonderful guest speakers too. I think you can access Coffee with the Critters (Animal Behavior Center) on Face Book for free so that you can get a feel of what she is about.
