I used to be a bartender so as you can imagine I saw my share of drunk people. One gentleman in particular who was a regular had a bad habit of falling off of his barstool after about the fifth or sixth vodka and soda. (Don't worry, he never drove home. He had quite a bit of money so had a driver). I say habit but it actually only happened a few times. After the third time we all chipped in and bought him a bike helmet, safety goggles and children's knee and elbow pads. they were sitting at his spot at the bar when he came in. He wore them all night. It was hilarious.
