This is nothing that would need to be put into effect right now or anything
Just a couple ideas to toss around
What about adding a page for breeding - The Necessities
that can list & Show pics were applicable of all the things a person would need to hand raise a baby bird
if it ever needed to be done
I know there aren't many breeders on here, BUT accidents happen then the person has babies that aren't being taken care of by the parents And they have no clue what to do
and I know It is a lot easier to handle a stressful situation if all the important information is in one spot and not have to search a million websites to get the RIGHT answers
and it wouldn't need to be bird specific since for the most part how to do it is done the same way with all the birds
another feature I think would be helpful
I see a lot of people asking "where can i get a bird at in my area" A Lot of people are new to the net and do not know the avenues (no pun intended) they have for finding a bird
So would it be possible to have a page listing different options to look for a bird
Like hoobly, kijiji, Domestic ads etc
and if some one is in the posters specific area and knows of breeders that are good or Shelters Etc. they could tell them either on the page or in a Private message
