Recently i've been helping a friend of mine looking for a new bird.
But almost everytime i look at an advert of a young parrot it has like these numbers in front of it and i wonder what it means
Its like this:

0 - 1 Macaw
1 - 0 eclectus
1 - 1 cockatoo

What does it mean?

Male/female, I believe. In the Netherlands theh usually have three Numbers, 1-3-2 for example. The first one is for ‘gender unknown’, the second for male, the third for female. So I think the first number is the number of male birds, and the second the number of female birds:) I was very confused the first time I saw that too!

So basicly if it says 1-0 it means 1 male bird, and 0-1 would mean 1 female bird?

Yes... your interruption is correct... some examples just in case. Standard across all types of critters, birds, snakes, reptiles, etc.

male.female.unknown

1.2.6 - one male, 2 female, 6 unknown sex
4.1.0 - four male, one female, 0 unknown sex
