It takes an eon to prepare their breakfasts.... rinsing the sprouts, making sure nobirdie is killing each other in the sitting room, cutting up fruit, removing Bobbie from Chico's cage, cutting up veggies, ahhhhhh.... ok.... so Ollie is screaming at the pheasant, arranging the sprouts, Kobe is gnawing at the kitchen cupboards (*sigh*), arranging the fruit, Chico is singing and expecting me to sing with him, arranging the veggies, Kobe is now buzzing me.... and so on.....

This is an aside: I just can't believe some people think Pionus are plain. Just look at his vibrant iridescent feathers. Such a handsome, striking bird. Pictures frequently don't do them justice. But your pictures of Kobe shows all the splendor that is Pionus.

(Can you tell that I love the iridescent beauty of these creatures. )

Actually, they look a lot like an off-breed of a conure.

Funny you should say that, Rick. I too have always thought they look similar to Conures. Maybe it's the dark alien eyes! I find it odd they are more closely related to Amazons rather than Conures. Of course they don't have the long Conure tail, but Kobe looks so similar to Farlie.
