Toro is going through her first molt since we've had her (about a month and a half so far) and it seems like a lot of feathers, I'm used to a parrotlet molt and maybe it's just the the feathers are a lot bigger and I'm being overly paranoid that she's molting too much or something. She just has a 2-3 very small spots where her gray fluff is showing, and I haven't caught her pulling out or plucking, she preens plenty but it seems like that's normal.
Should I be getting her more protein or trying to bathe her more often? Right now it's about once a week that she'll get excited about going in the shower with us and getting all wet, I could probably try to push for more. And for food, she's been getting some fresh mango, apple, half a Brazil nut or walnut, chard, butternut squash with a few squash seeds, and plenty of the Fruit Zupreem pellets. Should I add some egg white to her daily mix to help her through the molt?
