I am considering getting a pet bird and initially thought about a pair of male Zebra finches. After more reading and research online I am now considering a canary. My concern is that having a single canary will be a sad, boring life for him (or her). I would be grateful for any insights and suggestions from experienced finch and/or canary owners. My fear would be to get a single canary and then feel sad watching him (or her) all alone in the cage. Thank you!
