Is it normal for a 10 week lovebird to already be regurgitating to me? He does so to my finger on occasion.

I don't know about the regurgitation, but it could just be affectionate.

Yeah, I figure he's too young for hormones. I just hope he's being a normal affectionate baby bird.

I could swear I've read somewhere that baby parrots will regurgitate for each other. At that age, it's not a sexual thing, just sort of a "I like you, have some of my breakfast!" thing. At least as far as I understand But I'm not an expert, and have very little experience with babies.

I've seen my babies regurgitating and appearing to feed each other. I just figured they see the parents doing it, and are mimicking it.
