Curious. Does Echo’s presence have any positive effects on Zane’s plucking?
On his plucking sadly not really.
It's affect his overall mood thou. Zane has been bonded to several different birds during his time at the rescue. There was only one bird that seemed to have a positive effect on his picking and plucking. It could have been just a coincidence. Baby was her name and she was adopted out.
I think that's one of the few downfalls of rescues. Birds pair up and then don't always get adopted out together.
I know that's one the few regrets my friend who ran the rescue had. Not keeping Baby for Zane. But there's only so much room and lots of birds in need....
