YouTube “shorts”

I just tried to share a video that I had uploaded to YouTube, and the media handler here said it was invalid. I noticed that since it was under 30 seconds, YouTube labeled it as a “short”—which is relatively new.

Is that why the AA media handler didn’t work for me?

Try posting it as just a link without using the Media thing and see if that works. Unfortunately all these social media platforms update their (technical jargon here) much faster than the forum software does so sometime there is a period where things don't align.

I looked for a long while to find a useful Short for a test and this is the best I could find...

I think some of the plugins we use are incompatible with the newest versions, which is why we are sometimes behind the curve.
