Got this baby tonight, gave her warm subQ fluids, started her on baytril, a heating pad, and will check on her during the night. looks like a cat attack, hope shes gonna be ok. Pretty little baby.

Just got home from work, little booger didnt eat a thing, so I tube fed her 3cc's of warm baby formula. She will get her meds at 4pm. She was all snuggly and warm though. =). Her right foot is bunched up like a fist, but opens and moves when I pick her up, so we may have an injury there, the foot is warm and the leg moves, I didnt feel anyhting broken and the hip joint feels sound.

no, not at all.

Very odd!! Could she have a tumor or something? I know some birds pull their legs up with tumors because it pinches a nerve.

I think its because of her injury from the cat attack, lower back has wounds on it, probably a little issue with nerve damage. She moved the leg fine and gripped my finger with it just a bit ago. I think its a temporary problem.

So glad you found the little sweetie! If it was a cat bite what does that mean. I have read many times that cat bites are fatal. Is this not always the case? Hope she's better soon

Yeah, I think their saliva has some bacteria that's extremely poisonous.

I got her on baytril right away. Its a great broad spectrum antibiotic and good for cat bites.
