Hubby & I had mango ginger stir fry with basmati rice for dinner tonight.
Very rarely, we let our birds have a bit of rice
Normally, if they have rice, it's brown or wild rice.
White (basmati) rice is a rare treat for them.

Do you find Diego still a bit shy with strangers?? Jayde is still very shy and even though Mike and I have lived together going on 5 years, she still will not come near him.

Diego is 12 years old and still 100% my bird.
He's not "shy" - more like he'd rather attack anyone other than me that is crazy enough to go near him.
He tolerates Vic up to a point. Vic has only rarely been able to hold him.
Diego is totally infatuated with only one other person besides me; our oldest daughter. All I have to do is say her name, and Diego's watching out the window, tail flared and so excited.
