Cookie ate her fist veggie!!!!!

after almost a year of trying.. shopping, mushing, hanging from toys, twisting in bars, mixing with other foods, Cooked, raw, twisted through cage bars, eating with her... NOTHING!

untill.. i was chopping sweet potatoes tonight, for HUMAN comsumption. she was sitting on my shoulder (she's done this before, nothing..) and SHE WANTED SOME! i put it up to her and she just tried to lick it, so i took it away. every time i took it away she seemed to want it more and more until she took a chunck outta it, AND ATE IT! and she kept coming back for MORE! WOOT!


I still want to get it so she'll eat it from her bowl in her cage, but this is a HUGE start!

and OWCH! i just opened the oven to get my sweet tato's, and didn't wait for all the hot air to go away, and it all got on my arm. I got my face away but maaaan it hurts

Haha I agree! i'm so glad Cookie's finally trying them, but we;ve still got a long way to go..

Now, Toc. He's a challenge. he won't eat anything fresh, either. we'll offer something to him, and he takes chunks and flicks them everywhere, but nothing is consumed, hehe
