I got my birds this but seeing people saying birds shouldn't have them...is it OK to continue to give them it..?? One of my birds don't really bite on toys or perches and his beak had to be trimmed by the vet so was hoping this would be good to help with keeping beak trim. FB_IMG_1738096067308.jpg

So if you're using it for diet reasons, I do think there are better options. As for fun or as a toy, I think they are fine. I do give one to my Bourke's because he does like to nibble them!

Thanks. Just curious, how does it help with diet..?? I've mainly bought it for keeping beak trim and they love it too

I'm not familiar with this specific one, but they often claim they give the bird calcium, trace minerals, "detoxifying" clay, etc.
