Yellow on Chest Feathers

Hello all,

I'm starting to see yellow hints on some of his white chest feathers. Not sure what this means and if it's normal for a 16 yo caique?

Anyone else have this experience?

Someone once told me that yellow feathers are a sign of liver disease. Maybe take him to a vet to get a check up? It might be nothing but at 16 years of age, I would have a vet look at him.

Very norma. Their coloration can vary a little from year to year.

A liver problem is when green feathers turn shockingly yellow. There are layers of feathers on your biurds chest. you are just seeing a little more of his undergarments ( how dare you!)

All youngsters have a mix of yellow and white on their chest. The yellow gradually recedes
